Seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Women's Health Nurse Practitioner or Midwife to provide gynecological care to patients in Norwich, CT. You will be responsible for conducting gynecological exams, managing gynecological conditions, and providing education to patients about gynecological health. Position may be either full time or part time.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct gynecological exams and screenings
- Proficient in colposcopy
- Able to perform endometrial biopsy, vulvar biopsy, nexplanon insertion and removal, IUD insertion and removal
- Diagnose and manage gynecological conditions
- Provide family planning and contraceptive counseling
- Educate patients about gynecological health and wellness
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate patient records
Requirements - Active Certified Nurse Midwife license
- Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Midwifery
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in gynecological care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a healthcare team
