Hereis some of what you can expect from being a PACU Registered Nurse with us:
- You will oversee and direct the care of the postsurgical/post procedural patient.
- Youwill bring your specialized skills to serve specific age groups, which mayinclude adult, adolescent, geriatric, or pediatric populations.
- Youmay rotate to areas other than your assigned service area/s, and you willperform only those duties for which you have demonstrated competency.
- Youwill oversee and direct the care of assistive personnel, maintaining finalaccountability for the care given to assigned patients.
Whatqualifications you will need:
- Currentlicensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current activemulti-state Registered Nurse license.
- Basic Life Support certification through the AmericanHeart Association or American Red Cross.
- ACLS and PALS requiredwithin the first 12 months of hire.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. BSN Preferred.
- Minimumone (1) year experience in PACU or Critical Care acute care required.
