As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (Charge RN) at Spalding Rehabilitation Hospital, you will work u nder the general supervision of the units director. You will assume responsibility for direction and coordination of all functions in the unit on your designated shifts. In collaboration with other members of the management team, you would be responsible for the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in unit.

What you will do in this role:

  • You will assume responsibility for direction and coordination of all functions during the designated shift.
  • You will functions as a resource person for staff member and assists in necessary education of individual members of the nursing staff.
  • You will assume responsibility for the overall quality of nursing care provided when you are on duty
  • You will make decisions regarding activities with these areas based on Administrative Operational Standards, Nursing Administrative Standards, Human Resource Standards, and Standards of Care for the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
  • You will have a commitment and understanding of staffing matrix/productivity standards, the goals of the unit, patient safety initiatives and positive patient experience.
What qualifications you will need:
  • Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license.
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • A BSN is preferred.
  • Two years of clinical practice in the clinical specialty of your unit and leadership/ management experience is preferred.

Spalding Rehabilitation Hospital is a 42-bed HCA Healthcare facility located in Aurora, Colorado. The facility is the state's first licensed acute rehabilitation hospital, is the regions premier facility for an expansive range of physical and cognitive rehabilitation needs.
