Import Operations Start to Finish
Based in Tamworth (B78)
Working with a Global Freight & Logistics organisation who are looking to recruit an Ocean Freight Import Operator to join an established, busy and thriving freight team.
The role of ocean Import Operator will be to handle FCL & LCL shipments from start to finish and managing your own client base.
Liaising with customers, Shipping Lines and carriers, receiving pre alerts through to processing shipping documentation, completing Customs clearances through to arranging the delivery of freight to its final destination and billing out files.
A friendly and well-established Freight operation, the success candidate is required to have hands on freight experience, in particular in Imports and/or Oceanfreight.
Strong communication skills, a positive work ethic and friendly approach to work and colleagues is essential for this role.
In return my client is offering a salary up to £32,000 pr annum, office-based role and hours of work Monday to Friday 8.30/9.00am - 5.00/5.30pm.
