Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Location: Lancaster, Lancashire
Pay Bracket: up to £32,000 + Benefits
We are working with a fantastic business who are looking for experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team in Lancaster. They have grown to become one of the largest suppliers within their industry becoming a preferred supplier and must go to supplier for their clients.
Your main roles and responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing the sales ledger.
- Responsible for managing the purchase ledger.
- Managing company credit cards and overseeing monthly expenses
- Updating cash flow reports
- Managing VAT returns
- Monitoring stock and producing reports and calculations for Leadership Team
- Support the Audit preparation and Accountants.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience within an accounts setting.
- Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills.
- Ability to extract and manipulate data into management information.
- Capacity to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
